ingredient of Paneer Momoz

To make dough:

1½ cups maida

½ tsp salt

1 tsp oil

Water to knead

For stuffing (stuffing):

3 tsp oil

3 finely chopped garlic

1 inch Ginger, finely chopped

1 chili, finely chopped

4 tablespoons green leafy onion, chopped

1 onion, finely chopped

1 cup cabbage, finely chopped

2 tbsp capsicum, finely chopped

1 cup Paneer, grated

1 tsp black pepper, crushed

½ tsp salt

Instruction Making Paneer Momoz

First, take 1.5 cup maida and ½ tsp salt in a large bowl.

Add ½ cup of water and knead it.

Knead soft and smooth dough by adding water according to need.

Now apply one teaspoon oil on it and keep it aside for 20 minutes.

Preparation of Cheese Momos Stuffing:

Meanwhile, prepare the filling. For this, heat 3 tablespoons oil in a pan and add 3 garlic, 1 inch ginger and 1 chilli and fry it lightly.

Add 2 tablespoons green leafy onions and cook well.

After this, add an onion and cook it till the onion shrinks slightly.

Now add 1 cup of cabbage and 2 tablespoons of capsicum.

Keep cooking the cabbage till it shrinks slightly.

Now add 1 cup cottage cheese, 1 tsp black pepper, ½ tsp salt and cook well.

Stir it till all the spices are mixed in the cheese. Do not crush it.

Next add 2 tablespoons green leafy onions and mix well. Now let this stuffing cool down completely.

Shaping Cheese Momos:

First knead the flour or maida again lightly and break a small ball-shaped dough from it.

Wrap it in fine flour and roll it thin.

After this, place a small round bowl over it and cut it into a circular shape.

Now place a tablespoon of stuffing in the middle of it.

Now start turning the edges from one side of it.

Fold it like this till 4 parts of the circle.

Now close the pleated portion by sticking it well with the other part.

Heat the steamer and place the momos in a tray slightly away from each other.

After this, cook the momos in steam for 12-15 minutes or until they look shiny.

Paneer momos are ready, now enjoy water momos with momos chutney.
