Chicken Biryani necessary ingredients

One Kg of chicken
One kilo of basmati rice
250 grams refined
400 grams chopped onion
A cup of yogurt
10-12 green chillies cut long

2 teaspoons fennel
3 large cardamom
12-15 cloves
12-15 black pepper
2 bay leaves
2 grams mace
1 small grain nutmeg
One tablespoon garlic-ginger paste
Salt to taste
One liter water

For decoration

If you want, you can decorate chicken biryani with thin round pieces of lemon. Apart from this, you can also keep coriander leaves.

Chicken Biryani Method

First of all, clean the rice and soak it in water for one hour.

  • Clean and wash the chicken.
  • Heat the oil and brown the onion.
    Add cloves, black pepper, cumin seeds and bay leaves.
    Then grind garlic, ginger, fennel, mace, nutmeg, cinnamon and cardamom.
    Add curd with this spice and fry it well.
    Then add salt, chicken and long chopped green chilies.
    Then after a while add water and rice and let it cook.
  • After the boil reduce the heat.
    Add two drops of kevda.
    After cooking, add a pinch of color in a little water.
